Born In Reggio Emilia, Italy in 1991, Michele Cattani is a freelance photographer and videographer currently based in Bamako, Mali.
After his studying in Media and Digital Communication in Technologico de Monterrey in Mexico, he graduated in Cinema and Media Engineering at Polytechnic school of Turin.
Since 2017 he is travelling in West Africa focusing mainly on social, political and environmental issues .
He worked for “Grupo Expansion" studios, Motion Pixel and currently as stringer for AFP.
His works has been published on New York Times, The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Internazionale, Nigrizia, Le Monde, Liberation.
